Using FamilySearch API Sandbox URLs
Can someone from FamilySearch help with this one?
Without going into specifics of the mobile app that my team is developing, it currently uses the
FamilySearch API sandbox URLs. Will it be acceptable to send the judges an .apk file but have the app using the sandbox URLs? What recommendations do you have for the FamilySearch username and password to use? We could hard code the username/password into the mobile app, but we also want users to be able to log in to the FamilySearch Family Tree. The only option that I can think of currently is to give them both the username and password to the sandbox account.

I have received other answers from the Developer Support team, but not this one.

Ok. Would you mind sending them a direct email (devsupport@familysearch.org)?

It doesn't make sense to hard code the username and password. We can do a couple things here. We can either have you supply your sandbox username and password in your submission details for the judges, or, I will make sure that we issue judges their own sandbox credentials to check out apps that need this.
