Deadline? 5 pm Eastern? Or midnight?

The rules say 5pm Eastern. The ChallengePost sidebar calculates to midnight. Which is correct?

    We have update the rules and have extended the time for submission to TODAY at 11:45pm MOUNTAIN STANDARD TIME (US/Canada).

    Please note that it is NOT midnight. At 11:45pm MST (US/Can), the site will no longer allow submissions.

    We hope shifting to Mountain Standard Time will allow more time for you to complete your work and submit your app.

    Stay tuned for an official update.

    Our sincere apologies for any confusion. We want to give you all the time to you need by extending it to 11:45pm Mountain Standard Time.
